Rondi and Michelle Lambeth
First off, tell us a little about yourself: What is your background? Who are you guys?
Well, we both grew up poor. Rondi didn’t have electricity or running water as a kid and I was a latch-key kid with two working parents living in the Financial Matrix. Rondi has had the entrepreneurial spirit since he was 15 and had to basically take care of himself and his brother, get a job and finish school on his own. I have always been super independent and driven as an only child and I was raised as more of a tomboy. We met as realtors when we both owned EXIT Realty Franchises in Colorado. We had received the Financial Fitness Program in September of 2015 as great material just to supplement our credit repair business to help our clients. In November of 2015, Rondi had contracted pneumonia with sepsis in his entire body and was given a 50/50 chance of leaving the hospital alive. We had a very rocky relationship up to that point and the illness only made things worse. We decided to work on “us” through the end of the year, come to some common goals with our marriage, in our companies and in our future and decided to run hard at winning this contest. January of 2016 kicked-off our first round of “beast-mode” sales & coaching while learning the system ourselves and the rest is history!
Have you personally used the Financial Fitness Program and if so, what personal successes have you had with it?
Absolutely! We’ve paid down over $200,000 worth of debt, paid off my Jeep, an enclosed trailer, Rondi’s Indian motorcycle and over $100,000 in credit cards. We’ve implemented the 24-hour rule on purchases over $500 (except one that was a steal!) and we practice delayed gratification on all new purchases. Also, for the first time in our lives we have a savings account and an emergency account with over 6 months of expenses covered.
Cool, so you are products of the product. What do you love the most about the Financial Fitness Program?
We love that we get to see the results of the people who are following the program and escaping the Financial Matrix. There is a lot of transparency with the Financial Fitness Program that it allows you to really see where you are failing in your finances and where you need to improve. The results that our client’s are getting who implement the principles being taught who are saving money, getting out of debt, putting money away and practicing good financial habits is the best reward.
Of course, implementing these new habits is not easy. What has been the greatest challenge or obstacle along your own journey of Financial Fitness?
The greatest challenge has been to discipline ourselves to not follow what the herd is doing and constantly delaying what we want to do, whether it’s a business trip that we can afford or purchasing a large ticket item.
Did you have a plan in place to win the Financial Fitness Sales Competition and how did you execute that plan?
The only plan we had in place was to share the Financial Fitness Program and the Financial Matrix book with everyone we knew and with every new person we met through our client base and association – Rondi’s radio show and my connections through firearms training & Soroptimist’s/social friends.
What would you tell someone who hasn’t started the Financial Fitness Program but is thinking about getting started on the journey?
Every hurdle counts! Once you start, it’s a challenge to keep with it but just keep going. Get an accountability partner to share your successes with! Take a step forward every day and fail forward. Every day you wait to hit your goal is a day you lose, and the banks just make more money on you.
What do you hope to accomplish in the next six months with the Financial Fitness Program?
We hope to win the next competition in October and we are already selling kits every single day. We hope that by winning this competition, it will encourage others to do more and see the benefits of the Life Leadership compensated community, as well.
Is there anything else you would like to share with the readers?
We both love to live life to the fullest and enjoy helping and educating others. Rondi has extensive tax savings knowledge and I have a passion for firearms training (Princess with a Gun). We are working on finding ways to reward our team for performance goals with trips to our Tahoe getaway or other West Coast destinations through Rondi’s private pilot’s license and our company plane. We also love to give back. We have numerous causes we support including World Vision, local human trafficking/women’s shelters here in Tahoe through Soroptimist’s and yearly charities through our motorcycle events.
