“You would be wealthier if you stopped trying to look like you were.” – Chris Brady
Financial information is easy to access, but the messaging is often confusing to distinguish. Many people buy into the advertising slogans of “buy-now, pay-later” and the “you deserve it” campaigns and make impulse purchases without actually thinking through the long-term consequences of those decisions. The Financial Matrix scam–as explained by Orrin Woodward, has corrupted the minds of millions of people around the world. However, there is a way out! The Financial Fitness Program (FFP) was created for those people who have had enough of living in financial bondage and have a desire to free themselves from the matrix forever.
Perry and Joyce Brooks have been married for 50 years and have been in the Financial Matrix all of their lives, until Financial Fitness came into their lives! Here’s their inspiring story, written by Joyce Brooks:
We were married in 1966 and were the first in both of our families to finish college and enter professional careers. Perry was a probation officer for teens and I was a high school English teacher. Jobs were plentiful at the time and we could pick the area of the country that we wanted to live. As the old saying goes, the sky was the limit for us, or so we thought.
Credit cards were beginning to become popular and the more you had, the more “successful” you were, especially if you were dual income college graduates, which we were.
Then came Visa and MasterCard; we thought we had truly arrived when we qualified for these two cards–but we didn’t stop there–we got American Express, Diner’s Club and then the Discover Card. We continued on and applied for department store cards and gas cards.
“We were told by everyone how well we were doing and how successful we were. With these affirmations, we charged and paid on minimum balances for years and thought we were doing fine financially, even though we had very little savings and very little cash. As long as we could make the payments we were doing okay.”
As our children grew older and needed more, financial pressures increased. We bought a larger home, continued buying 2 and 3 cars (always new) and the compounding financial stress caused marriage and family stress. When our oldest started college, we had to get a loan to help him pay for it. Even though we had advanced in our careers and were both making 6 figure salaries, we were drowning in debt. We realized enough was enough and we started seeking better financial information and help. We started to cut back on spending and eliminated our credit cards to only one.
With God’s help in directing us towards Godly marital and financial help, we began spending less. But all financial help does not lead to financial freedom. When we retired, we still had 6 figure incomes, but with debt and heavy tax liability. We were advised to buy real estate to relieve the tax liability; we did and encumbered an additional $300,000 in mortgages. We still didn’t realize that we were in the financial matrix until 2008 came and the value of all our properties decreased, and we were upside down in most of them.
Then Financial Fitness came into our lives. We started learning different principles in the areas of family, friendships and leadership that helped us make changes in our lives and then disciplined ourselves to study and apply the Financial Fitness Program.
“We began applying the Financial Fitness Program 19 months ago. We studied every principle and applied them all. We had to rid ourselves of decades of erroneous financial information. Since starting the program we’ve managed to pay off 3 of the properties ($259,000) and our car $23,000 for a total of $282,000 in an 18-month period. We have $74,000 to go and we will be completely unplugged from a system that’s held us in ignorance for almost 50 years. We are already singing, ‘Free at last’!!!”
We thank God for the Woodwards, the Bradys and the Spolars who created and introduced us the Financial Fitness Program. We feel compelled to free others from the tentacles of this life depleting financial system. We do not want other couples to live in ignorance as we have.
By combining the offense, the defense and the playing field into their daily financial routine, Perry and Joyce Brooks are quickly escaping the Financial Matrix. Decide today to start applying the Financial Fitness Program into your life in order to break the cycle of financial deception once and for all.
